Cool:
- The Santos Trail System
- 40-mile singlespeed rides on perfect singletrack
- night rides on perfect singletrack
- Central Florida landscape (way more South, like Skynard South, than the Florida I've seen)
- Live oaks and Spanish moss
- Boiled peanuts
- the IMBA Trail Care Crew and the rest of the IMBA employees who joined us in FL
- the fancy shower trailer rented by the festival
- SEEING KATIE DUNN (!)
- and my grandmother
Lame:
- Orlando (yuck!)
- the Frontier agent at DIA who seemed to find great pleasure in charging us an extra 50 bucks for barely overweight bike bags (S: "But I'm not overweight!")
- nailing my recently injured (and finally healing) knee against a stump on the night ride and having to gimp around all weekend (thanks to the Giant and Specialized guys for saving me from having to walk all the way back to the campsite)
- crappy ventilation in my Marmot tent
- having to wake up at 3 AM Denver time to catch our flight home on Monday, and then going into work for the rest of the day
My knee (re)injury has made this week a rest one. Nat told me to take a few days totally off but I couldn't do more than one with the nice weather. Hopefully the legs feel somewhat good for my first road races of the season, the collegiate crits in Greeley and Boulder this weekend. S is announcing the races, so I'm sure I'll be shamed into racing hard even if I feel awful. I'm looking forward to having a weekend at home! Banana cornmeal pancakes and French press coffee all around!

Sounds like a pretty sweet time. I always figured FL had no decent riding. Maybe I'll have to go check it out... (never been)!
YES!!! I finally got to see you. Glad to see I got the yelling CAPS too.
Oh, my Dad also saw Spencer's name in some triathlon magazine and called me to tell me what a big deal he was. I think someone has a man crush.
