Spencer, Ashley, and Anna made a yummy dinner for me: grilled organic artichokes, local oven roasted potatoes, fancy yukon gold and granny smith 'sausage,' fancy blue cheese burgers for the carnivores, homemade guacamole and more. Anna whipped out some vegan Hostess-inspired cupcakes, which were so delicious that I couldn't wait until after 9 AM the next morning to eat a leftover one. On top of that, I received some awesome gifts including a fatty gift certificate to Peppercorn, Boulder's best kitchen supply store, some Rocky Mountain chocolates, a print of a cool old map of Colorado, and a t-shirt from Magic Hat. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday! Great friends, great food, great beer....can't top that!

it took me way too many tries to blow out the candles, and they weren't even the trick kind. i went swimming today to start working on my lung capacity. damn asthma.
